Maggie made a really good point, Ann put her up for 'laughing at pain' when actually Maggie literally turned her life upside down to prevent pain ala Rochdale.

Whereas Ann has never done anything as an MP to protect anyone.

Thinking about it like that, her reason for putting Maggie up was absolutely ridiculous and she should be embarrassed by it.

Not sure who I even like in the house anymore :shrug:

Wayne and Amanda are great but they get 5 minutes of air time a day :shrug:

Andrew/Shane J and Ashley/Ginuwine will get boring so soon if it hasn't already

Think this series is cancelled to be honest :shrug:

How do you know Ann has never protected anyone? Quite a sweeping statement

..but ‘laughing at pain’ in the house was the only thing Ann was considering in her nomination and that’s easy to understand...

One thing I know is that Ann cared deeply for the constituents that she represented for a very long time, its completely wrong to suggest she has done nothing for anyone. You can disagree with her opinions or her politics, but please don't suggest she is not a caring person because its simply not true.

If we put it in perspective, Maggie spoke up on 1 single issue, Ann had her voice heard on hundreds. That's not diminishing Maggie's achievement, but Ann was a loyal public servant for decades

Ann did not say "maggie you laugh at ALL pain" she just meant in that instance and its no or less more valid that saying "she snores"

What’s her old life outside the house got to do with anything anyway?
Ann was considering things that’d happened INSIDE the house.God knows what that Maggie was waffling on about.Going on about Rochdale again and making everything all depressing and dark.

I thought Ann nominating Maggie for laughing at the task as unfair. She wasn't the only one laughing. Why single her out! I like Ann, buy I don't agree with this at all. :nono:

and if she was herself i would be proud of liking her, cause the real ashley is cute, smart, lots of conversation material (i love her interviews with musicians)

...but then with others who had also laughed, she would have also been ‘singling out’ them, Vanessa...and as much as I’m sad to see Maggie go...I do think Ann felt she was being fair in nominating for an action she personally felt upset by...and maybe having recalled Maggie’s laughter particularly or it being more noticible if she felt it more unexpected to find amusement in the task...?...Maggie took it and felt it more on a personal level because she was relating it to her general character but for Ann, it was just that simple, isolated incident and what she felt was fair...

Anns a funny one, we should hate her for maggies nom...but i was delighted at her reaction to being saved....silly old bat...how can you hate on that.

That is so unfair,even Ryland said that Ann was not there to defend herself,maggie dropped in my estimation for even mentioning such a sensitive subject,it was a low blow,and I do ike Maggie,we do not know what happened only what Maggie has said and I would wager she is a tad bitter against Ann now,there is a BIG difference between Anns daft nomination than Maggie trying to make out Ann could have stopped Rochdale !!! and besmirch her reputation as an MP,bit nasty of Maggie that.

She would have nominated Ashley but she was immune,maybe she noticed Maggie more ,I know she already picked Jess up on it,maybe she didn't get on with Maggie who knows ,but she did what she had to do whoever she had picked would have had people moaning,lucky she didn't pick Andrew eh ?:laugh:

If Ann had nominated Jess people would still complain. Doesn't really matter who she nominated she was gonna get flack for it and she knew it.
