I can’t make up my mind whether this man is the biggest hypocrite or the biggest racist.

His reasoning and decision-making skills leave a lot to be desired as he seems incapable of seeing how inappropriate and backward such a decision was. It took the complaint of the equalities watchdog to force him to abandon such an extreme and tasteless plan.

The organisers of this made a mess of the planning so I am glad a more sensible path has been gone down.

..yeah obviously it’s right that they’ve been forced to scrap something that’s so discriminatory ..bit of an odd one though...reading down the article ‘white working class’..so those words have intrigued me in terms of the intention of it in the first place...was the discount intended more for lower incomes and is there a higher rate of lower incomes with ethnic minorities../not sure actually...and is it something more being media slanted to make it look as though it was just aimed at being because of skin colour rather than a lower income based thing and making it easier for those to attend...all guide odd anyway so I’m sure questions will be asked and answered and we can see what’s what with this...

Nothing left to surprise me with Labour. And whatever comes next, supporters will go to any length to find some excuse. Can you imagine if it was white people who were getting a discount?

It was the East Midlands Labour Party who made this decision and not the Labour Party as a whole. Their excuse is, its a talk about diversity and they want to encourage ethnic members. That's no excuse. East Midlands Labour Party shouldn't be trying to pull **** like this without talking to the people above them.

What an odd story. I genuinely do think Labour are imploding. There so much **** going on all at once that is somehow staying out of the main press somehow. Labour are just as ****ed as the Tories.

Because at meetings I sit alongside Jewish members who are desperate to see Labour in power.
In the election last year,I canvassed and helped Jewish candidates.

Labour does have Jewish MPs you know.,rightly so too who believe that party is the best for them.
