Amanda and Wayne and a terrible representation of the gay community
And YES they are part of the gay community and YES they are representing said community. Whether they like it or not.
Amanda especially just refuses to accept that people like Anne could have made her life very different if they had gotten their way. Just like India she refuses to acknowledge the work of gay people who have come before her. Things like this matter. “I’m fine dear, nothing to do with me” The attitude stinks. She has lived her life as somewhat of a pampered celebrity so yeah, maybe she hasn’t been affected so much but the rights she now holds certainly have. Shane mentioned women’s rights and the Amanda’s first response is “and men’s rights!” Says it all really. She’s the sort of person to respond to “black lives matter” with “all lives matter”. Missing the point completely. It all makes me very sad, especially coming from older gay people. |
Why the bloody hell do they have to be representatives of the gay community? just because they are gay? This means you have to be representing gay issues constantly rather than just being yourself?!
|
Why does being gay have to define you as a person?
|
She was right on everything
Ended Shane j and other victim complex far left idiots |
They didn’t go in to represent anything other than themselves
|
They are BEST representation ,they don't expect to be put on this pathetic whining, self absorbed pedestal that others do

Because they are public figures and they are on TV.
And being gay might not be ALL you are but it’s a HUGE part! And I don’t mean you have to be out there in gay bars all the time or even at prides events or marches. You just have to be respectful of the people who do get involved. For YOU. And as gay person you are going to stand there and defend the likes of Anne there I have a major problem with that. |
Would you rather have malicious Shane j turning everyone against Ann because she doesn’t agree with him representing your community or Amanda who loves people for who they are not the 2829292 labels attached to them and their views

You can stick up for someone as a person without agreeing with all their views  |

I feel sorry for people who think that their sexuality is the most important thing about them. It's pathetic. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk |

I thought Wayne and Amanda were just people. I didn't know they were representing anyone or anything.

We're talking about a woman who has lived during a war and you have the neck to think that she owes you something.
This really does make me angry. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk |
What if Wane and Amanda were black? And Anne had voted against black people marrying eachother? Would you think it odd that they ignored her views then?

Amanda and Wayne are more than their sexuality, skin colour, gender identity, billing address, eye colour
Trivial things like that are all that Shane has going for him hence why it now defines him |
Pet gays, safe to have around the children and dear old granny.

No I still would not find it odd. Funnily enough, people with all kinds of views can get along pretty well whilst also disagreeing with each others views.
Whataboutery annoys me a lot tbh  |
