Well,Shane J’s plan massively backfired on him

He’s got his game face on now with his partner in crime Malika. They know Ann is on course for the win but it blew up in his face in the form of the legendary Amanda Barrie.
Wayne was having none of his nonsense either.

Good on those two :clap1:

What will Shane J try next?

poppsywoppsy 28-01-2018 11:32 PM

He has a new face to add to his collection, Smacked arse.

GiRTh 28-01-2018 11:38 PM

Agree. I thought he would have been above such an obvious plan. I still have to question Wayne and Amanda in this. I dont see why they cant be friends with Ann and still challenge some of her views and her voting record

I don’t see why they should have to.They take people as they find them and judge them on that.Amanda and Ann have become good friends. She doesn’t need to start bringing up Anns past.
Wayne showed that he won’t fall for Shane J’s nonsense too.

They have risen above all this controversy, found Ann to be a pleasant companion and enjoy her company.

There is a lot to say about letting bygones be bygones and getting on with everybody. It makes a happier world.

Very true but is Ann making such an effort to fit in and get on with everyone?

I think she is doing her best, in fact I am quite amazed at what she is actually doing.

This eye rolling nonsense, if they found a funny way to deal with it and josh her, she would see a funny side. Instead, they take offence, use it against her and there really is no need. Ashley and Jess deal with her beautifully and it is good to see

If Shane J could just get off his soapbox, unwind his neck, stop being such a pain about his causes, it would be a happier house.

For a while:laugh:

Got to hand it Ann she is doing well in tasks and clearly has a lot of respect in the house.

I don't know why he is still pursuing this topic. He has made his views on it clear previously and, in my view, doesn't need to keep raising it. He has achieved his aim of educating people, which is commendable, but is not going to change the views of Wayne and Amanda at this stage.

You're right, his plan was a poor one and did backfire on him. He did himself no favours tonight.

I think he has lost his way since losing the lads and isn't sure of his place in the house now.

empire 29-01-2018 04:08 AM

wayne hit the mark on it being a soapbox, and shane has done nothing but bring identity politics into the house and its boring me, ann has done nothing to him, she has never once been nasty or vindictive to him, he has this ventdatta towards her just because she voted in the past against gay marriage, what shane fails to understand that if you asked the whole country that do they agree on something like gay marriage, and nothing is 100 percent in this world, no one is going to agree to the same thing, not everyone is going to like the same food to eat, shane seems very detached from reality, he wants everyone to agree to this pro lgbt rights, what will it do for ann nothing, it won't improve her life.

I'm glad Wayne is separating himself from Shane J's BS now :clap1: .
For a second i thought he was going to go along with his nonsense after that drunken session when him & Shane J were slagging Ann off :bored: .

But i'm glad he's seeing Shane J as the arsehole he is , and Amanda can see exactly what Shane J is doing by targeting Ann and i love how she defended Ann , she even bluntly said to Shane J "you're not even in a civil partnership" :hehe: .

And she clocked him with his deliberate wardrobe malfunction when he entered which he clearly did for attention .

Vanessa 29-01-2018 04:22 AM

He's just being himself. What you see is what you get with him. And I love the way he's always calm and reasonable during debates. He never shouts or screams, never agrressive or even passive aggressive like amanda was last night.

Vanessa 29-01-2018 04:28 AM

Amanda high fiving Ann after the argument was particularly pathetic. Considering she herself had been bitching about Shane previously with wayne. Hypocrite.

It wasn't pathetic :nono:. I like the fact that Amanda & Ann have bonded so well together , Shane J is always bitching about Ann to the point where it's nauseating to listen to .

He's always making digs at her like she's abused him , he exaggerates every action she does and holds it against her :bored:. Amanda hit the nail on the head with his behaviour.

Vicky. 29-01-2018 07:16 AM

Fairly sure Shane thought it was a foolproof plan and he would be able to pull it off  I reckon he might also think it was not transparent to the viewers and that he had made it look like genuine concern or something, rather than just bitching and trying to make her look bad. Only person he made look bad was himself tbh, kinda disappointed in him

And it pains Shane J ,he's now being a spiteful twat like Andrew.
She's definitely getting involved a lot more than people thought.

LeatherTrumpet 29-01-2018 07:58 AM

The veil slipped last night and we saw the ugly person inside

that wee boy has more faces than the town hall clock

Nicky91 29-01-2018 08:02 AM

so what doesn't matter at all, Shane will survive this eviction with ease against sitting duck Ashley and win CBB

This exactly. Why should they have to make some sort of issue about her historic government voting. Ann has been retired for years. It isn't something she should have to explain over and over again.

She has. She seems to get along fine with everyone who isn't going out of their way to provoke and isolate her.

What you see is what you get with Ann. So why can't she be left alone to enjoy her time in the house?

It wasn't pathetic at all. It was a charming moment.

Bitterness is never a good look, maybe it's time everyone got over Andrew and moved on..

...see, how do you prove he has his game face on or that he he’s ever had a game face or a game plan...I mean, you have a very pro-Ann perspective, so that’s the slant that you see, in that you see a game face...(...obviously I’m just teasing with you NM because it’s a chat we had in another thread about the perception of ‘homophobic traits’...)...anyways to be serious, I don’t think he has had a plan because he’s been consistent in what he feels is his ‘representation of the gay community’...but yeah, trying to summon ‘crime partners’ wasn’t good at all...I just thinks he has allowed Ann to get under his skin in a way that she obviously hadn’t at the beginning so that’s the ‘face’ that we’re seeing..the face of someone who is allowing someone to creep into them in a way that will always be bad for them, rather than a game face...I mean if you are correct and it were a game face and a game plan from the off...then surely the same could be said of Amanda in the early days when she so apologised to India for her misgendering...and I’m so sorry, and full of apology and please forgive me and I’ll just go and sit down now/type ‘face’..in comparison to the ‘face’ she presented last night of...I’m, not having THAT I’m ready to have my say and tell him what’s what and confront him right here and now......hmmm, I don’t think its about plans for either of them, I just think they’re both displaying the varied aspects of their characters that we all have...

Robodog 29-01-2018 08:34 AM

Yep

He's done himself no favours after that episode

Lost a lot of support

Shame, because he seemed kind and intelligent at the start

Now he just comes across like he's on a mission to stir up prejudice against Ann
