I suppose it can be classed as a Big Brother 8 topic, because this person supposedly gives us "info" about the new show.

If you are telling us the truth about Big Brother 8, I would like to know why you are risking your or your mates job by giving us "news".

You should know that Big Brother producers do read this forum, so why would you be stupid enough to risk it?

How could they possibly tell who it was by only being able to see his username?

Has he actually been right about anything yet...?

IP address?

Oh, how could they get the IP address? They'll find a way of getting it. Maybe asking the admin for it.

Then the admin would say "No, that is a violation of our terms and services unless you can provide us with complete verification that you are who you say you are". And then once they had the IP address, what would they do? Have to track it through ISPs and link it to someone who either DOES or DOESN'T work for them. Too much effort for something thats going to be revealed in the end anyway, and may not be who they think it is.

And we wouldn't give it out and there are ways of hiding it.

I can't see anyone being fool enough to login with a channel 4 registered i/p address to post on the site. It would be more than their job is worth. They might however post form a home i/p address or from an Internet cafe. Because of this we have know way of checking the people that report to be from channel 4 are who they say they are.

However saying that most if not all of the reported channel 4 posters are fake just from experience.

I'm talking about if the Big Brother team asked for it.

It really doesn't matter in any case, because I'm 99% certain this person's full of crap in any case.
