Will BB19 rate higher than BB18?

With everything down, even Winter CBB not even averaging 2m, WOT do ya think! Xx

RileyH 29-01-2018 05:01 PM

no

Oaker 29-01-2018 05:13 PM

no it'll average 900k

y.winter 29-01-2018 07:09 PM

The only way is down

LukeB 29-01-2018 07:17 PM

No

Eddie. 29-01-2018 09:27 PM

The new creativd director may do things to get more ratings so I hope.

But I still think it will go down...

Cal. 29-01-2018 10:49 PM

No.

If they do what C4 did and announce it's axing with BB19 like they did with BB10 and then have a BB20 next summer that will probably rate higher seeing as BB11 rated 500k more than BB10 did.

Barry. 30-01-2018 12:20 AM

No.

Jodie. 30-01-2018 05:27 PM

Now that My5 will be included in the ratings, I think yeah

Still no

Yes.

Despite CBB21 being the least watched winter series ever (and almost least watched ever ever ever) - it has been fantastic and I think is a really good starting point for BB to start building back up IF they continue on with the positive changes (which is almost certain, with the new creative director hired etc)
Plus, the new ratings system is almost guaranteed to help and a later launch rumoured would definately help too! I don’t think it can get much worse than BB18 was anyway

New ratings system

From March they’ll begin to count viewers who watch on catch up services (so My5) which will boost BB by at least a couple hundred thousand

Channel 5 need decent promotion for the launch, they were alright this year by putting it on their channel ads all the time and putting it on social media, but they should advertise it on other channels

At this point I don't think they'll drag in more viewers through advertising... The money spent on buying ad space on other networks would be a waste...

I think yes, in the overnights I am unsure, but in the officials it's likely given the fact that the new BARB system will include other means of watching just like Super did.

Underscore 04-02-2018 11:55 AM

Not unless they pull some major **** out and proper hype it up.

ethanjames 04-02-2018 12:28 PM

no even if they put trump in there lol

Rob! 04-02-2018 04:17 PM

With them now counting catch up in the offical ratings, at the very least it should beat BB18, which really shouldn't be that much of a challenge.

Nicky91 04-02-2018 04:26 PM

no, without a superfan like Raph it will be boring :(

BBUK-Fan 04-02-2018 05:19 PM

If it has good advertising and promises to be a social experiment, it should rate well

supertv247 04-02-2018 06:19 PM

After BB16 flopped 5ey out in a lot of effort and got BB17 to bounce back, and I imagine it’ll be the same this year but with more (considering it’s nearing the end of contract)

andybigbro 06-02-2018 11:37 AM

I doubt it.

Hopefully but I doubt it.

Tbf having the BB18 launch on the same night as Love Island launch last year was an AWFUL decision
