AS3 E1 - Who were your top 3 talent show performances?
 

It seemed pretty open so I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were :think:

Aja > Shangela > DeLa

1. Kennedy
2. Aja
3. Shangela

Probably anyway, nobody really wowed me (albeit they were all good) except Kennedy though. A joke she wasn’t top two.

The desperate in me thinks she could've been safe if her wig didn't come apart </3 she was still better than Milk :inamood:

although Milk's song is, annoyingly, stuck in my head? but that's probs because it's 6 words

I didn't really care for any of them tbh... I think they should at least stop pretending that it's in any way a talent/variety show when the majority of them did something that they already do on stage every night (anyone who lip synced, Kennedy dancing, as good as it was, Chi Chi dancing, as not-good as it was). It's so transparently a showcase for all the extra promoters who'll book them post-season, as opposed to a genuine variety show, that it makes the whole thing seem unoriginal and quite arbitrary. Add to that how people in the audience have said some of the performances were completely different to how they came across on screen (apparently Milk's went down like a lead balloon, Bebe's wig fell off at one point, etc), and it seems even more, well, fake (wait, you mean that something was portrayed in a way that wasn't entirely faithful to the reality? On RuPaul's Drag Race? :o *clutches pearls*). I suppose it's helpful for people who haven't seen a particular queen's season in getting a general idea of their act, but... I don't know, they all just left me feeling a bit cold? Especially the sight of Dela swinging her tits around like a drunk granny at Christmas?
