Why do people want Shane Lynche to stay?

Because he seems like a really great person, very interesting when we do hear from him and because he's Irish :fan:

He hasnt been featured half as much as other housemates but he is a nice guy with a clear head and has accounted for himself very well. I dont know what beef Ashley has with him. I 'got' why he nominated her (because of the goading of the lads) but for some reason she has it in for him. I seriously think he will possibly make the final. I liked Edele (his sister) also in there

They've both nominated eachother before, I think maybe they just didn't "click" rather than either having it in for the other :shrug:

Because he is a decent bloke with standards

I want him to stay in because I really like him.

I would prefer Malika to stay.

Edele is on the radio as we speak telling everyone to vote for him. Her reason is "He's come out of his shell in the last 3 days"

yeah we have seen a bit more of him, with another 3 going I think he would be a very interesting housemate to watch for the last few days, Malika and Ashley are one trick ponies at this stage, the only reason I would want him to go is I think we would be have to sacrifice Ann or Amanda, can't see Shane J going

he's not one of the three that i would save ideally (Ashley, Malika, Shane J.) but i know that Ashley and Malika are toast so I'd rather him stay than Ann or Amanda bc he's actually been growing on me the past couple episodes

But he's a 100% true gentleman who's been lovely the entire series

Yeah, I'm torn on Shane tbh. He does come across as a lovely fella but if he wasn't Irish I wouldn't be supporting him because he has coasted.

But if in a 32 day series he's only been seen for like 3 days and has done nothing notable then he's not worthy of a win imo

I didn't say I wanted him to win, I said I wanted him in the final :laugh: he would be a better winner than Malika, Jess or Ashley I think?

Anyone is better than Shane J or Malika.

Yep, agreed, definitely a more deserved finalist than those 3.

I wouldn't mind either way if he stayed or went. He hasn't brought enough to the house, but I really like him as a person.

I liked him anyway.... but an Irishman with a potato peeler collection! Even Niamh couldn't make that one up!

Didn't know much about him before CBB but he seems like a salt-of-the-earth type and I wouldn't mind at all if he won. And frankly, you could declare war in an Irish accent and it'd sound beautiful.

I like him but hes boring

I like Shane because he doesn't say much

When he does, it is usually funny, kind, helpful and shows what a nice person he is.

The complete antithesis of Shane J.

Because he's a good man who hasn't tarted, showed off, kissed anyone.

Or argued with anyone.

Or bad mouthed anyone.

He hasn't got drunk.

Tarted in the tub.

None of these things. :)
