Why CBB Failed Yet Again

Okay so CBB21 was a step up in terms of actually having a DIRECTION and a CONCEPT and casting INTERESTING HOUSEMATES, but there are way more cons than pros this season.

NO BOOS?:fist:
First off wtf happened to the audience actually having GINUWINE GENUINE REACTIONS THAT INCLUDE BOOING HOUSEMATES THEY HATE?
I understand that the producers probably included that part in the contracts (this series the audience will not be permitted to boo any housemate during their enter or exit of the house, it's a positive series about celebrating women and people in general, etc) BLAH BLAH BLAH, but still WHY DID THEY MESS WITH WHAT MADE CBB SO GOOD WHICH IS WAITING TO SEE THE AUDIENCE REACTION AND HOW THE BOOS MESS WITH THE HOUSEMATES MINDS AND CHANGES THEIR BEHAVIOR IN THE HOUSE.

NO NUDGING THE HOUSEMATES TO CREATE MORE DRAMA?
:conf:
No showing secret videos of people shading them? No killer noms? No secret room and fake backdoor? It felt like from day 15 to day 24 you could just copy/paste all the events of the previous day. Certainly the most REPETITIVE SERIES EVER. The Ann vs Shane J war was interesting, why the **** did BB not use it for a task? Remember when they made Perez and Cami-Li King and Queen in a task knowing they had already started loathing each other? Or when they purposely took out Farrah and Jenna and put them in the secret room knowing well that housemates HATE THEM and twisting it on their heads by making the housemates ACT UP on their hatred for them. Like wtf happened to BIG BROTHER? This year it surely was BIG SISTER, the less mischievous, less witty, less entertaining elder sister of Big Brother...

NO MID-SERIES HOUSEGUEST ENTRANCES TO BOOST DRAMA?
Can you imagine what CBB19 would've been MINUS KIM FREAKING WOODBURN? Why are producers getting so sloppy? I noticed this in CBB20 too. The series was getting tedious at times before Brandi started coming out all because the producers didn't push for more drama and relied on ****ing Barry from EastEnders to deliver the killer nom. They should've shoved more people in. But thankfully that series had people like Jemma and Paul to give the audience the much needed rows and drama. If BB continue this boring trend I can see CBB22 being even worse than CBB18 aka the Bear season.

Obviously it's not a horrible season. I did appreciate this whole debate-driven house that discussed all these political and social issues. I want more of that so I'm not knocking everything. But BB always was a breeding ground for drama and if you take away India that it feels like an episode of Loose Women or The View. If I wanted to watch those shows I would watch THEM. I thought I tuned in to CBB? No?

Thoughts?

*Farrah and Jenna were fake evicted by the public not producers.

1. We don't need nudging the housemates to create drama because it won't feel natural and will be contrived.
2. We didn't need new housemates mid series because there was too many and they were fine.
3. My thought about this OP is hmm....

Only thing I agree with is the boos. The rest has been a welcome change.

I agree with you top 2 points .. No boos and a damped down audience ruined eviction nights .....and showing the backstabbing to the house is always a great idea ,but don't like outsiders coming in

The 3 things you mention are things that have made this years better for me tbh :joker:

The booing though...I dont think the audience should be muzzled to such a degree. Though I have said for a while it would be lovely to have a series without endless chants and 'off off off' in the interviews. I think stopping them booing fullstop is a bit daft though and I would love to know how they have managed it

i don't watch BB to have a message rammed down my neck that isn't even part of the theme. That was the biggest turn off for me, and reading the forum threads on here gave me no incentive to catch up on the week or so I missed. I will now watch the final and see what happens, but i'm passed the point of caring what the result will be.

Im getting that way too

They needed at least one fiery housemate to kick things off and cause tension. Kim carried her series for example, like that’s all you needed, one super fiery housemate that kept things on their toes

Do you mean the whole misgendering India or the gay rights debate?

So am i , bombarded by the exact beliefs we already have , Leave people to decide for themselves - for me sexuality does not come in to it , i think most of this forum feel the same ! loads of new people trying to force their views on people who already are on their side. ???It has ruined this Cbb.
