Ann Widdecombe has finished as the runner up. Pleased or disappointed?
...
|
She was robbed.
|
Should've won.
|
winner for me.
|
I can't vote in the poll as I don't think she didn't deserve to win.
I'm pleased with the result and Shane J winning as I voted for him. However Ann is a truly credible runner up. These were the best 2 in this series all through for me. |
Honestly everyone in this series kinda sucked but at least Ann was a strong woman who was real and geniuine with everyone
The Shane j win is more personal than just a fave losing like I hardly care about Ann it’d be a more different story if it were kim woodburn vs Courtney it just speaks volumes about the nation politically and where it’s heading :( |
She's a tragic, miserable boot. Good riddance.
|
Should've won
|
Best housemate in a looooong time.
|
a scream
|
Pleased with her placement... second was perfect for her. But the winner sucks.
Haven't even watched the episode yet but me watching the trainwreck afterwards https://media.giphy.com/media/26n3Jj...7YRi/giphy.gif |
Loved her.
If she had to come second, then ShaneJ is the one to be beaten by. 2 great housemates.:cheer2: |
Both pleased and disappointed  I think she did deserve to win, but also think Shane was a good winner
|
Robbed
|
Disappointed that she placed so highly (I didn't vote).
|
I'm pleased but not particularly because she didn't win, I just think she makes a good runner up - good HM but not a great person
|
Should've won for being an amazing housemate.
Her views are still tragic, not to be confused, but she still deserved it more than the LGBT rights leaflet. |

I have to agree...Shane J won because of who he represents more than about who he is. |
I'm not surprised by the result , I knew Ann would finish in second place and that's still a huge achievement . I would of preferred her to win over Shane J but that was never going to happen :idc:.
|
Best she came second and not having to do all that PR nonsense.

At the start of the series I doubted Ann would last very long at all, given her unfashionable views in today's climate, so I'm actually delighted that she reached the status of runner up! I personally am very much for equality for gays, transgenders etc etc, most of us quite rightly are these days, but I think true equality means exactly that - equality for everyone and no pushing opinions down peoples throats in an aggressive way. That also goes for the freedom to express traditional Christian beliefs like Ann's views of marriage between a man and a woman that she adheres to. It isn't wrong to be what you are born to be; straight, homosexual and all in between and beyond; it isn't wrong to have Christian beliefs; life is quite often hard and we all have to get through it as best we can with whatever works for us.
Surely there is room for all of us and our different views? True equality is the acceptance of the views of others (as long as hatred isn't at the heart of those views), respecting those views and having a mutual understanding that the old saying 'different strokes for different folks' is needed as human beings are complex and fascinating -and would we really want it any other way? Life would be pretty dull if we all marched to the same tune and our differences is what makes life colourful and exciting and challenging! Where would we be without feeling we have obstacles to overcome and better things to strive for or uphold no matter what side you are on or what views you hold on the whole glorious but often frustrating spectrum of human experience? |

In other words, you feel equality for human beings to be as they are is only fine when you okay it. |
Well said

I have just read an article that heterosexuals are asking for the same rights as gays so they can have a civil partnership.
Now there's a turnabout. |
