The defendant told the court he is bisexual and has an autism spectrum condition, denied one count of preparing terrorist acts and one of making threats to kill.

He needs a prison sentence. Anyone involved in any kind of terrorism should be locked up and put to work for the good of the country. When I'm Minister for Justice, that will be a thing.

His 'defenses' were laughable, 'Oh, I can't a terrorist, I've suddenly come down with autism and bisexuality so I can't be guilty of terrorism.'

I'd assume if there's any truth to his claims, particularly the bisexual one (which I doubt tbh, reeks of 'I can't be racist, I have black friends' logic) then I'm guessing he is actually gay and hates himself because of it as is the case with most violent homophobic incidents and intents.

Yup, there's still major publications that refuse to call Thomas Mair a terrorist for his terrorist murder of Jo Cox. It's rare that the terrorist label gets applied to these twats despite charges and the like. The media like to keep the narrative streamlined after all.
