I've been summoned for jury duty

I don't want to go. :bawling: Has any of you done it before? I'm scared :worry:

My mum was there for two weeks before and she didn't get called once so it was very likely it'll just be a waste of time but if not then just do what you have to do I suppose.

It sounds interesting, but scary at the same time

Ugh why does everyone complain about that? I want to be called so badly but never have :bawling:

I can take two weeks off work. But if it lasts longer then Im not sure I will be able to do it. I will have to talk to my boss at work.

I think if it goes on longer your work has to let you have it off and you can claim to get your wages if your work doesn’t pay you

Crimson Dynamo 08-02-2018 01:13 PM

keep it

i would refuse

yeah I'm pretty sure your boss has to allow you time off for as long as it takes tbh

smudgie 08-02-2018 01:15 PM

Been summoned three times and been excused three times.

Yes, but I have rent to pay every month. So if its longer than tow weeks I'll tell them I can't go anymore.

When they ask you if you have read anything about the case say yes, then you will be bumped off...(not literally of course, unless it's huge drug trial where the jury members are at risk :worry:)

Well if it's a good looking man in the dock, he's getting a not guilty verdict.

Vanessa 08-02-2018 01:17 PM

And my phone number :hehe:

Not Ness arguing with the rest of the jury that Ted Bundy is just being himself and having a laugh and getting pizza and beer for the jury verdict
