Its a saying and it may date all the way back to the Scandinavian invasions of Britain but do you think men in the UK are naturally attracted to blonde women?

It doesn't actually matter to me tbh. Blondes tend to be better looking on TV, etc but in real life you don't see as many 'good looking' ones

As a man who has been lucky to have had lots of women in my life with all hair colours I would say no.

Plus you can get great colour from a bottle and collars and cuffs don't match these days.

I'm gay, and I definitely 'prefer' men with blonde hair but I guess it's just preferences. I wouldn't not date someone if they had brown hair though.

Il be honest I left a beautiful blonde ladies house one night because after spending the evening out with her, her voice was grating on me.

Then why do so so many women colour their hair blonde?

change of look, like changing a make up style...we don't all do it to attract blokes otherwise why would women in committed relationships do it :laugh:

I'm growing my hair out at the moment as I can't be arsed with colouring it anymore, so will be au naturel in about 6 months, there's some information nobody asked for :hee:

Personally speaking I get blonde highlights because my hair was naturally blonde as a kid, it got a bit darker as I got older so I just wanted it back to how it was, it takes easier than dying my hair dark would as well because it's already naturally pretty light in colour, equally people I know who dye their hair darker colours usually have naturally darker hair. It's alot of effort to dye dark hair blonde

Its our innate desire to be liked (attractive) and feel important. Its second only to the need to have sex which is linked.
