Last time there was a craze for Beatrix Potter 50p's we had customers ask us to empty our cash draws to look through coins then be called names for saying sorry we can't open our tills crammed with hundreds of pounds to find you a mrs tigglewinkle coin

I always give out rare looking coins to nice customers just incase they're worth something, the rude ones can rot.

There was a woman I used to work with who annoyed the sh*t out of me in her desperation to find all the coins, as though she was going to be a millionaire.

I'd cash up on a night and she'd be ransacking all my 50p bags looking for them. :rant:

What a rubbish waste of money....we have 10ps, fish and chips and cricket... pffft! Is that modern Britain? No, better make some with some old dear lying dead in the snow or a disabled person soaking on a pool of their own piss as their PIP was refused :idc:

Would it have cost that much? It gives some people who like collecting a purpose so its not all bad :shrug:
