Arguments with your boss
I had a screaming match with my boss today (well yesterday) and was just wondering if anybody had any advice on how to approach the situation afterwards etc. She said I was very close to getting sacked but I can’t go to her like ‘about our row yesterday, how could I do it again so I couldn’t get sacked in the future?’
We’re on fine speaking terms now but it was the biggest row we’ve ever had in my time of working for her. |

Was your argument justified? We’re you cheeky?
I think it might be a good idea to have a quiet meeting with her to try and resolve the situation and learn how to both approach situations like that in the future. How to communicate better with each other if you are both unhappy. |

it would show a level of maturity |
I don't think I've ever had an argument with a boss in general let alone a big shouting argument. I am the BIGGEST yes-man at every job I've ever had lmao :worry:
But honestly it's because I just don't care, just tell me what to do and I'll do it until I get to go home (which I think is a lot worse tbh ) |
what was the argument about?
|
I don’t ever remember arguing with a boss :worry: for a start it’s not very professional if she has an issue with you regarding your work she needs to set aside some time to talk to you about it in a proper way, screaming at you shows a lack of training, what is your job...and what was the argument about
I don’t get why you would need to ask her about the row unless you don’t know what triggered it..:omgno: |
It was justified. She was having a go at me for no reason so I had a go at her back.
Daniel-X, Rob, Marsh, Scott and LukeB will all know the story since I've told them all and will confirm I was 100% in the right! |
Funnily enough I sent my notice to quit my job today because I always clashed with my boss an so I didn't want to get sacked for it.I legit think the woman was a sociopath or something. Ew and she'd always have a go at how people "presented themselves" but her hair was always a bloody tangled state and she had extreme dandruff

You did nothing wrong, personally i think the boss has some personal issues going on and snaps at anything and makes out that you're doing this and that when you're not. respect should be both ways and i'm sure you did respect her just not the way she was talking to you. |
