Would Jade Goody have been invited back to UBB had she not died in 2009?

So this is a question that has been on my mind for quite some time now, but I’ve never got around to asking it.

So would Jade Goody have been invited back to UBB had she not died the year before?

Part of me thinks yes, yet part of me thinks the opposite.

Jade would have been invited back because she’s a BB legend, and one of the most iconic and successful housemates of all time. That will certainly boost ratings if the inclusion of the likes of Brian Dowling and Nikki Grahame weren’t enough already. Plus they made a tribute to her on the finale so C4 and the Goodys weren’t in bad terms or anything like that, heck they even interviewed Jack Tweed...

Though part of me thinks the opposite way, and that C4 wouldn’t invite her back, maybe due to them not wanting to cause any controversy on the last series (never did they knew that we’d have an additional 19 after that)...

Your opinions and thoughts?

Yeah I would think so.

Cal. 05-04-2018 01:21 PM

She’d probably finish third to Brian and Nikki.

Niamh. 05-04-2018 01:24 PM

I would hope not after what happened with Shilpa

Probably not, not to sound disrespectful but I think if she never got cancer she would have remained blacklisted by BB and disliked by the public.

They probably would have asked Shilpa as well and instructed them to get on with each other so the show would end on a high note

Yeah I think so too. Clearly it was awful what happened to her and I've got masses of sympathy for her sons but she was a bully and she behaved horribly in there and should not have been allowed back ever

She wouldn't have been invited back, it was the awful circumstances of her illness which changed how people saw her for the better, as weird as that is to say.

Probably a month or two before she received news about her cervical cancer, she was starting to actually get back on the public’s good side, though she knew very well she couldn’t go back to the level of admiration before CBB5.

She even went on Bigg Boss (Big Brother India) to try and make the Indian public forgive her, Shilpa was the host of it all even! Though she walked after a day because of her cancer news...

Jade was one of the reasons why big brother died and lost a lot of viewers so no doubt it

The scenario is assuming CBB5 happened just to let you know...

Yeah. It's easy for C4 to acknowledge her after she died tragically young, but they wanted nothing to do with her after CBB until she had a few months to live.

Probably would have depended on how she got on with the Big Boss HMs

Not a scripted storyline.

Tbf, I think had she not been diagnosed with cancer, she would've done well on Big Boss and she made amends with Shilpa when she entered.

I still don't think C4 would have taken the risk of massive backlash. C5 on the other hand would definitely have had her back by now for an all stars.

Sis was a saint on Big Boss compared to the Indian guy who threw urine on people

Gstar 05-04-2018 02:00 PM

No but if she would of survived the cancer then yes

Had she not took part in CBB5 and died in 2009, she would have 100% been asked back. A final three of her, Nikki and Brian would have been amazing, seeing as they are arguably the most memorable housemates ever.

Amy Jade 16-04-2018 12:45 PM

If she hadn't have gotten cancer? No

If she had survived cancer? Yes

Epic. 16-04-2018 12:47 PM

The backlash for CBB5 makes me think she wouldn't have. The only way I could've seen her back would be if they asked Shilpa as well
