During yesterday's (April 9) episode of The Chase, a viewer took to Twitter to criticise the show for allowing "people of this sort to appear on a family show", which led other viewers to assume they were talking about 24-year-old drag queen Daniel.

Equally, they could have been talking about 33-year-old ski chalet business owner Charlie, 50-year-old post office assistant Suzi or 67-year-old retired RAF warrant officer Marty, but Anne Hegerty wasn't having any of it, especially if they were being 'homophobic'.

"Oh, don't be such a sad ******er," she succinctly replied, quickly gaining the support of other Chase fans.

Why would anyone object to them, were they all LGBT?
