Almost halfway through callbacks month
 

We are almost halfway through the month of callbacks!

how many people will they call back... Is it like 1000... or do you think it would be like 500

I got a email years ago and there were so many people there that it felt more like an open audition, only descised as an invitation only audition.

100 no way its only the 1st audition...

I would say logically they want 20 people including standbys so they would need to audition at least 200-300 people...

but I've auditioned three times... two were open auditions so there were thousands... and one was invitation only and still there was a three hour que... how do you know that its not going to be like this this time?

^^Last summer’s civilian series averaged only a million per night and half of its cast were recruits...

I did not watch it so what do you mean half of cast were recruits... do you mean half were pre-selected so they skipped straight to the final 50 or something??

that would be soo unfair... I remember actually I've auditioned 4 other times... if only 10 were selected from the open auditions, then it would explain why i never even had a change...

Recruits are people who have agents who audition for the show without going through the application process. I think C5 scouts them, though they still go through some later parts of the audition process such as interviews on why you should become a housemate etc. Most of the recruits were EOTB Z-listers...

You could ask forum member Raph, he was a housemate last year though he wasn't recruited. You could check the Q&A thread he made in the BB18 sub-forum though if nothing there answers your question, then try and ask, though he is barely active so good luck with that...

That is sooooooooooooooo unfair... might as well give up before you even apply
