Should the Pope get involved in parent/hospital disputes over terminally ill children
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/...n-life-support
I read this today about Alfie Evans and I know we've had a thread about this case already but the report made me think about the pope having a visit with the child's father. I can't imagine the pope meets with the parents of every terminally ill catholic child so it must be related to this being high profile and the cynic in me wonders if it's good Vatican PR. Should the pope be getting himself and his Vatican sponsored hospital involved in cases of disputes between parents and hospitals over the care of a terminally ill child? Personally I don't think that he should. I think he's peddling a very unfair and unrealistic miracle hope to the parents. What do you think? |
What a lovely thing he did .
