Peddling your cheap tellys again Arista :nono:

:joker:

(Also, HDR stands for High Dynamic Range, referring to the colour contrast - darker blacks, brighter whites etc. - not the resolution)

The mid range of these 4k TV's is very good value now. You can get top name brands for a few quid more and they are really great TV's

TBF I think I'm getting old and my eyesight is going anyway...

...I have a 55" 4k, and honestly, either it just has brilliant upscaling or my eyes are going bad, because I can't see any difference between upscaled 1080p and 4k unless I'm literally about 2 feet from the screen. From the couch, it makes zero difference .

HDR is great though when the content supports it (most newer Netflix stuff does).

that's my experience too. The upscaled picture is fantastic. The only show i truly noticed a difference was startrek on netflix where the picture was a wow moment. Just a pity the show itself is complete tosh

Yes All the 4K BluRays are HDR
a mega boost above
1080P.

Upscalling is not much in it
I agree.

SkyQ
gives you loads of 4K channels
So Sky1 4K , SkyAtlantic 4K
SkySports4K and SkyMovies 4K
to name a few.

Sadly virginmedia
has Failed in getting any UK 4K channels.
Like Sky1 4k
they could do a deal on.

Their (virginmedia) sad new box only has netflix 4k
and youtube previews in 4k ONLY

BT has 4k a few channels.
