What kind of houseguests do you want to see for BB20 USA?
 

Since Season 20, is right around the corner, and we are finally getting an all-newbies cast, what type of houseguests would you like to see this summer?

Personally for me, I’m so over the stereotypes. They should really go back to the casting format of pre-Grodner/10/11 and OTT, and not choose people because they are fit, good-looking and look hot in swimwear...

I would also like to see less duds, and the cast should be more racially diverse, maybe like 8 whites and 8 POCs?

What are your choices?

Personally, I'm the houseguest type that I want to see on the show. Maybe for Season 21, I'm not ready to give up my job in Korea.

A friend of mine says I'll be like Omarosa. I can deferentially get the headlines going and plan to do that. I do admit that there is a chance I'd come across as Raven 2.0.

Diversity is expected, young, good-looking people are inevitable, as it's Reality TV, but not replicating stereotypes would be a great change.

Please be Omarosa but not Raven :yuk:

In all seriousness though as long as they cast people who are charismatic with personalities that can bounce off of each other I'm content.

No more
- superfans who want to throw comps and float til late game while congratulating themselves in the storage room for their bold strategy.
- HGs whose entire persona is made of a cutesy name they give themselves in the DR and are there to spout poor hashtags
- HGs who aren't willing to play the game and are ready to hand it to whichever returnee comes through the door

and I'm happy.

WHEN are they gonna cast someone just naturally funny & charismatic like Enzo?

Not in BBUSA, older players are almost always absolutely terrible.

Glenn - Honest, he was probably going to end up like Kevin.
Joe - horrible
Adam - Horrible
Kathy Hillis - LOL. Probably the worst player who made it to the jury stage ever.
Jerry - He may have won a couple of competitions, unlike some of the others mentioned, but he only wins because the jury was bitter against Dan/Memphis and he would've been the worst winner had he won.
Renny - Not as terrible as any of the others mentioned, but her social game never aligned out of being friends with Keesha and she was statistically, she is up there with Shiela. She was also in the era where most HOH comps were trivia-based.
Shiela - See Renny, and even WAY less liked by fans.
Chicken George - You know that things are bad for older folks when he's the token Gen-Xer they chose to represent this season.

Donny is a toss-up, as while he wins mental competitions, his social game was bad, even though he beats at least Caleb, Victoria, Jacosta, and Christine and maybe Zach. He was also as oblivious as all other players.

Evel Dick is the only exception, even though for obvious reason, he's very unlikable.

What we can ask for is an older person who has a good social and strategic game on point.

Being good at the game is boring though. I'll take a group of bad but entertaining players over a season of Derek's, Andy's and Dan's.

Anyway, Jerry, Renny, Sheila, Joe and Kathy were all stars of their respective seasons. Throw in other older HGs Monica, Lori, Gerry, Andrew, Lawon, Donny and almost all the CBB HGs and IMO they're proof enough that older HG's most of the time really deliver.

BBUS's older houseguests really aren't bad at all, they're pretty good and entertaining.... and I realized that more than ever when I started watching BBUK/CBBUK tbh :joker: Their older people are almost always boring, irrelevant flops :shrug:

Well no you haven't because Caroline, Ahmed, Derek, Lea, Susie, Carole, Jayne, Natalie and Sukhvinder were neither dull or irrelevant.

And that's not including CBB.

You've only seen, like what, the last five series of CBB and BB18, half of which had terrible casts in general, so zip your fat gob.

By older I was thinking like 50's+ (unless they look like Donny who I'd also count).

At least Ahmed & Sukhvinder wouldn't qualify out of that list :fan:

35+ is old by civilian BB standards because they don't cast many people over 50.

Jackie Stallone, Big John, Ken, Ivana Trump, Stephanie Beacham, Denise Welch, Michael Madsen, Julie Goodyear, Julian Clary, Paula Hamilton, Carol McGiffin, Linda Nolan, Liz Jones, Kellie Maloney, Gary Busey and Leslie Jordan.

They were all over 50 and they're just from the CBB series you haven't seen yet.

So shut up, alright?
