They also look vile, sound vile and make my skin crawl! They can go wherever they like so long as it's not in my vicinity :worry:

I have a wild flower bed at the bottom of my garden to encourage bees and butterflies and we have a hedgehog :flutter:

If Bees die out we all do :worry:

Twosugars 09-05-2018 11:29 AM

lucky you, Cherie
would love a hedghog, but too many cats and foxes around here
have a wildflower meadow bit too

Crimson Dynamo 09-05-2018 11:38 AM

i have had 2 huge bees in the living room and a queen wasp this week. I caught and fed the bees with honey before releasing them and i just caught and released the wasp as she was pretty cross and looking to build a nest

I love bumble bees too and we also have a wildlife patch ,We just have to stop the cat trying to catch anything that moves, lol, so she has a collar with a bell on to warn them.I do try NOT to kill anything.

our Westie torn a hole in the fence trying to get to him but he rolled in a ball, Mr C was out at 11pm one night moving him with a stick trying to catch the dog and drag him back. Mr C fixed the fence and we now have hedgehog alley underneath it so h/she can come and go

thank god, Kaz.
It's beyond my why all cat owners don't put bells on them. Cats can't help their pray drive and will try to catch and kill things.
