Protest is fine but why cross the land line Its been like this for years Israel will shoot anyone crossing dead. Its because among the Innocent Protesters are Fools that Throw Molotov cocktail's, that is act of War to Israel. https://e3.365dm.com/18/05/992x558/s...20180514151008 The new Embassy is now open. Yes Some do have Jobs sadly Yesterday the Hamas Deputy Leader said they must go there. "Directing the Young to their Death" the Ch4HD News Reporter asked him, The Deputy Leader claimed it was their right to go there? Current Death toll is 52 (CNN Live) Pathetic. |
According to the BBC
On Monday, the Israeli military said 40,000 Palestinians had taken part in "violent riots" at 13 locations along the Gaza Strip security fence. and Israel are the bad guys for shooting them? |
A wheelchair bound, double amputee Palestinian protester was among the many who were shot and killed. I think I know whose side I'm on

sadly true |
I'm on the side of the one with decent rights for women and LGBT people, has made child marriage illegal, has freedom of religion, and doesn't use children and the injured as human shields.

They said children had been killed. I couldn't help wonder why children were there.

It's war. Both sides will commit atrocities. Both are attempting to claim a moral high-ground somewhere and because this isn't put to rest, it'll probably continue to be a perpetual war until somehow the stalemate is broken... both will claim to be on the defense, that's how a stalemate generally works... and I guess the more tense the situation, the more willing either side is to up the ante with more attacks and incendiary rhetoric/propaganda.

People protesting on their own land and getting shot by an Army across the border. Disgusting actions added to a long list of war crimes from the Israelis.
Anyone excusing it is part of the problem too. |
If my adjacent neighbors were lobbing bombs and such into my backyard... I'm not so sure as a citizen I would be in a rush to have the govt to make a treaty for them to be sovereign, aka a permanent disturbed bees nest, without some sort of promise of security. There are other things they don't agree on ideologically, the claim of the land itself being the tip of the iceberg... that part of the world is in constant unrest. If it were in our neck of the woods, then I would agree, just get it over with, etc, make peace... but Israel has numerous enemies and there are probably a strong interest there to create renewed/constant instability.

Hamas were saying last week how they were planning huge protests and that loads were going to die. They really can't turn round now and say ... oh we didn't mean it, why did you shoot
|
I am getting sick of phone calls on Radio
saying they are just chucking stones Some use the Powerful Sniper Catapult |
10 incidences of explosives on the fence,Live gun fire, dozens of molotov cocktails thrown,
Half the ‘protesters’ shot found to be jihadis so far. Hamas leader called for ‘protesters’ to tear down the border and rip out Israeli hearts,Called for ‘protesters’ to hide weapons under their clothes to use when they get through the border, called for Israeli kidnappings and murders. The ‘protesters’ going towards the fence weren’t all ‘unarmed innocents’. Yeah i can see why Israels border defences might get abit twitchy. |
