Is Lindsay Fully Loaded?
HARD-PARTYING screen star LINDSAY LOHAN could face a prison term after suspected cocaine was found in her car.

The wild-child, who hit fame in the film Herbie Fully Loaded, was arrested after a crash in her £75,000 Mercedes convertible.

Cops who nabbed her for alleged drink-driving said a “usable amount” of the drug was found in the motor.

If convicted of possessing cocaine, the 20-year-old actress could be given up to a year behind bars.

And she may end up sharing an exercise yard with celebrity pal PARIS HILTON — recently ordered to spend 45 days in jail for violating probation.

Mean Girls star Lindsay is thought to have been at the wheel of her Mercedes SL-65 when it crashed on Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard.

Beverly Hills cops said the car, which was carrying two passengers, suffered “major damage” after mounting the pavement and hitting a tree.

Lindsay — too young to drink under US law — suffered minor chest injuries in the accident, shortly before 5.30am on Saturday. A pal drove her to hospital.

Police traced her there and arrested her on suspicion of driving under the influence of drink or drugs.

Force spokesman Mitch McCann said the star was not taken into custody as she was having treatment. But he said he was “confident” she was driving at the time of the crash.

And he said a search of the car found a quantity of what appeared to be the Class A drug.

He said: “A usable amount of an illegal narcotic tentatively identified as cocaine was recovered.” The Los Angeles District Attorney will decide on any charges and the actress is due in court on August 24.

Possession of cocaine is considered a felony offence in California and is punishable by prison.

Lindsay, who spent time in rehab to battle alcoholism earlier this year, was shown on a video two weeks ago allegedly taking drugs in a nightclub.

The actress was seen dancing and smoking at Hollywood hotspot Les Deux before the crash. She arrived with a group of pals around 11.15pm.

Also at the club were singer JAMES BLUNT and 26-year-old hotel heiress Paris, who was charged with driving under the influence last September.

Last night Fox News correspondent Laura Ingle said there was a very real possibility that Lindsay could serve time alongside Paris, who is due to begin her sentence on June 5.

She said: “She could face a serious jail term and could well end up in the same facility as Paris.”

Lindsay — recently seen partying with CALUM BEST in New York and the Bahamas — celebrates her 21st birthday in July. She checked into a Malibu rehab centre in January, saying: “I’ve made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health.”

Saturday’s crash was the actress’s third in two years. In October she received minor injuries when her convertible hit a van. Officials blamed the van driver. Months earlier, she collided with a minivan.

Lindsay's dad MICHAEL feels his daughter's arrest could be a blessing.
Michael - who hasn't seen his daughter in three years - told the Daily News: "This could be a sign that gets her the help she needs. This could be a blessing.

"I believe the people my daughter is hanging around with are the wrong people. Lindsay has to find hope in God and put her family first, not listen to what other people say, and listen to her heart."

I just dont get why such attractive, successful young women would want to put themselves in this kind of position.

Silly silly girls they are, what kind of role models do they think they are to the people who love them

Completely agree - what do they think they're doing???

I think the problem is Ash they dont think - they are so young yet have such huge amounts of money and power that they will often think they are above the law. I really wish someone would guide them in the right direction.

That's very true.
The only reason I can think of is the media, and the constant obsession over them. People like Britney and Lindsay have literally tens of paps following them, where ever they go. It must be a constant battle trying to avoid them. It would surely give me stress/depression being in that situation.

Me too. You would've thought, with them being celebs in the first place, that there would be that guidance for them. Because at the end of the day, money and power does not put you above the law. And with people like Lindsay especially - I remember her from back in the days during Parent Trap, when she seemed like a cute, little educated girl. It's quite shocking really.

I'm not surprised. She is such a waste of space
