POP star Peter Andre last night revealed how he enjoyed a passionate affair with Big Brother beauty Tania Do-Nascimento - and was desperate to get her back.

The Aussie singer - whose hits included Mysterious Girl and No1 smash Flava - dated part-time model Tania, 23, for more than a year at the height of his pop career.

But the couple drifted apart after Peter quit music and returned to Australia to help his family run a luxury holiday resort off the Queensland coast.

The star last night spoke of his regret at dumping Tania when he went back to Oz.

Former EastEnders star Paul Nicholls has admitted he once fancied Big Brother housemate Tania.

The actor, who played Joe Wicks in the soap, says he met Tania in a club but she knocked him back when he asked her out.

Tania listed her five famous boyfriends in interviews with Channel 4 bosses before Big Brother started.

She has admitted to going out with Peter Andre, Dane Bowers and West Ham footballer Youssef Sofiane, leaving viewers guessing to who the fifth celebrity is.

Paul told the Daily Mirror: "She was a good-looking girl and we had drinks together. I asked her if she wanted to go out with me, but she said no. I guess she didn't fancy me.

"We didn't kiss or anything and it never went any further. Nothing ever happened because she didn't fancy me. I wish her all the best on the show, she's really nice."
