Grenfell fire inquiry

Very sad hearing all the accounts of the victims by thier friends and family.

One thing i took from all the fallout at the time was how these people were being ignored because they were poor...but seeing all the videos and photos of them before the fire has made me think that was a load of bollocks cause most of the victims were not poor, infact they were far from it.

These people were being ignored by those in power, but I think there's been a huge outpouring of love and support from all over the country.

I was a little worried when one of them blamed the fire service. I remember vividly seeing the firefighters, exhausted and in all their kit, laying on the grass getting a bit of air before going back in. Anyhoo, that said, the messages and statements from loved ones are really poignant, very sad and of course, harrowing.

People will take their opportunity to vent and why shouldn't they, it's human nature. With something as harrowing as that fire, peoples minds process and cope with things in whatever way they can. It's the job of the inquiry to listen, identify where the pertinent issues are and make recommendations so that a similar event doesn't happen again
