Is Love Island homophobic in your opinion?
Poll coming! x
|
Yes and my onion matters more then yours :flutter:

No

IMO it is a bit. (although I'm a hypocrite and will still watch it). Like they literally don't allow you to go on the show if you're gay. Sounds pretty homophobic to me! I get that the format doesn't really allow for same sex couples, but they could just tweak the format if they wanted to.

No, Season 2 had a bi and lesbian (who could have been bi icr)
|
No it's not

Li are planning a LGBT version apparently |
It's more heteronormative than homophobic
|
I would've said the same thing as Jack if it wasn't for that twat at the edinburgh festival who said we had enough shows
|
I'm pretty sure Australia has a gay on it rt now
|
Its commercial and playing to 4% of the population does not get advertisers in.
|
No.
The ones that gob off about it being homophobic all the time just have a chip on their shoulder and look for any reason to find fault with the show! |
You could ask, "where are a lot of people?" It's their show and they should be able to put on who they want. If you don't like it, then don't watch, nobody is forcing you to.

No :umm2:

For what logical reason would having some non-heterosexual people on the show lead to less viewership? Please enlighten me. |
No. The whole point of the show is matching men with women, that's the premise. Matching men with men or women with women would require a different show with a different format. Still a terrible show though, mind.
