Have you ever been arrested

Based on Annies shoplifting story in another thread?

If you've been arrested for a minor offence please give details

RileyH 01-06-2018 06:14 PM

No but I wouldn't mind a sexy young cop having me handcuffed in t'back of his car

Josy 01-06-2018 06:20 PM

Quite a few times mostly breach of the peace for being drunk and underage

Matthew. 01-06-2018 06:20 PM

no im squeakeh clean :flutter:

AnnieK 01-06-2018 06:21 PM

Omg, I've never been the inspiration for a thread before.

Another brush with the law I had, I wasn't arrested but we'd been clubbing and got stopped in a van and there was about 15 of us in the back of a transit so we all got turfed out and had to find other ways to get home. Cue a veeerrry long walk.

Arrested for driving without road tax in about 2001. The offence took place in Essex where as I live in the midlands so it took about 3-4 years for them to catch up with me. They sent reminders - I ignored them, they sent a notice that a warrant for my arrest had been issued to my local station - I ignored it. Then about two week after that five coppers almost kicked my front door down and that is not an exaggeration - for a traffic offence. One of them gave me a load of bollox about how they dont know what the offence is when they do arrests like that so have to use force. I was like 'whatever mate'. All this happened in front of my neighbours but thankfully my daughter was not there.

Night in the cells - which I do not recommend at all - and they drove me to Harlow to be tried and cuz I already had a night in the cells they gave no future punishment.

The journey to Harlow was only one way so I then had to find my own way home from down south.

Lesson learnt - Never ever ignore police notices

No but I called the cops on someone before and they nearly arrested me instead

Yeah I ended up with 6 points for failing to provide driver information years ago (I did provide it but outside time frame) which hiked my insurance right up. Not good to ignore those types of things

God, I'm starting to sound live a one woman crime wave

Where are you from, Annie?

Josy 01-06-2018 07:08 PM

When I was 14 I drank too much alcohol and passed out in the park, my friend tried to get me into a shopping trolley to get us away from the police and I tumbled out and got 'lifted', the police left me unconscious in the cells for more than an hour and then couldn't wake me when my mum arrived to pick me up, she went MENTAL at them for leaving me there unconscious I ended up getting rushed into hospital and had to have my stomach pumped :bored:

I got grounded for a week for that.

smudgie 01-06-2018 07:40 PM

I have sailed close to the wind, but my record is clean.:joker:
Gift of the gab I reckon, but I did get kicked in the shin by a policeman I tried kicking but missed:blush:

Vicky. 01-06-2018 08:23 PM

Yes, for a few minor offenses which ended with warnings or just being released and 2 rather not minor offenses which resulted in convictions too D:
