I'm old enough to remember this when it happened and it was so clear Jeremy Thorpe was guilty. It was on the news every day for months.

I remember hearing about him coming into a bedroom with cream and towels and i literally had no clue what he wanted that for as i had never heard of gayism at that age as it wasnt a thing
