They should be focusing on Unique talent

Simon keeps saying the only reason he made the show was to give acts who dont get a chance anywhere else to have their talent seen.

so is it time they stop singers, Dancers, Magicians auditioning seen as there has been a lot of talent shows to cater for them?

it isnt really unique? there are half a dozen shows/festivals for new comedians

Withano 03-06-2018 09:30 PM

I agree, but I also think a singer, magician, dancer etc can sometimes be unique.

Withano 03-06-2018 09:31 PM

Oh, you meant unique as in the category of talent. I feel like we’d run out pretty fast.

i just had a look and out of 12 winners of britain’s got talent, 3 of them were singing acts. for the statistical people, that is 25%, so it’s not that common for a singing act to win tbh

It all depends on a few factors
LIKABILITY
Bringing NEW EXCITING MATERIAL to the performance
STAGE PRESENCE

And all round being something different & entertaining

But if you look at each final at least half the acts were singers

Black Dagger 03-06-2018 09:37 PM

Tbf mind I don't know after 12 series what there is left to see?

Jordan. 03-06-2018 09:38 PM

People say this every year and there will still be dancing kids and a choir in next years final

Amy Jade 03-06-2018 09:39 PM

I feel LVG was pretty unique but they definately had too many singers tonight.

I get the choirs and stuff but most of them could have been on X Factor or the Voice tonight.

Yeah usually singers do dominate BGT alot  ,tbf some of the singers were decent this year but I just think there was too many .

It's obvious the public didn't want a dancer or singer to win :joker: . I thought diversity juniors would get in the top 3 but people don't want another diversity as they were so similar.
