yes, it's a pretty sad state of affairs, and they won't be the only ones. It's just a matter of time until the majority of large high street stores bite the dust.

Soon they'll be zero retail stores as everything is online .
Just imagine high streets with nothing but betting shops , takeaways and bars .

Very surprised the Oxford Street store is going

I've never actually been to a House of Fraser, always talk about going to the Manchester store at Christmas and never do. Maybe this year.

Now when you go into a shop and if they don't have what you're looking for ,I think even the retail staff themselves are telling you to search online :facepalm: . Despite it putting them out of business :rolleyes: .

the reason forn this is that the stores are sh1t and they are stuck in the past

its not rocket science to visit one and see they are finished
