Whats uganda like for a holiday?
 
Patrick my ugandan buddy has almost finished building his village for his extended family and has kindly offered to take me out there for a month to be treated like royalty.

I’ve travelled to a lot of places, Uganda is by far my favourite. Lived out there for over a year in total

i think very very warm weather, but i guess african nature has something special

There are regular demonstrations and rallies across Uganda which can turn violent. You should remain vigilant, avoid large crowds and public demonstrations and follow local media for updates. See Political situation

Also, its one of the only places in the world where lions live in trees... which is a bit terrifying but also super cool if you ever walk past one

If you go anywhere outside of the capital or Entebbe, people will often point and excitedly shout ’mzungu’ at you which literally translates ‘white traveller’. It’s pretty cute. Seems racist, but they half expect you do to it back at them by calling out their tribe name at them.
