Well, the problem is with your statement in the OP and how Big Brother even relates to the article which is about LI Aus vs LI UK.

Who are these fictional characters who are calling BB trashy but watching Love Island? Who is complaining BB is racist and props up LI in the same sentence?
Maybe if you proposed a thread with something real to discuss you would get genuine conversation.

LI AUS is proving to be much better than LI UK this year....purely based on clips I've seen and the first 4 episodes...but then I love drama.

The title of the thread is about Love Island...The thread relates to how the media and the fans celebrate behaviour deemed as trashy on Big Brother its hypocritical. These aren't "Fictional characters" I provided a link.

Are You serious when asking when saying who complains BB is racist? Do you not remember Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty which was discussed in the houses of parliament and became world wide news? Then members on this forum discussing racism pretty much every series....Emily saying "Youre pushing it out n1gger" being a big one".

You end saying you love the Australian version better which proves my point that fans are just getting offended and posting crap instead of debating in actual topics.

It's plain to any intelligent person this is a forum and this is a genuine discussion as to why everyone look's down on BB but celebrates LI which is pretty much the same.

The subset of people calling BB trashy, violent and racist is not the same subset that enjoy love island...they aren't even in the same Venn Diagram.

That's my point, which makes your OP an unanswerable question for discussion... so how else are people suppose to respond other than gifs :shrug:

As I said about three replies in, your comparing LI fans to the general public's 2018 reaction to BB. It makes no sense to compare them, and is pretty meaningless.

My OP was not posted in riddles it was very clear to read and anyone with a brain cell could respond to it without using a gif or being some offended teen thinking I was taking a stab at LI which I wasn't.

This forum has just gone so downhill it's depressing!

Everyone is out to gain friend's and put people's opinion's down to gain point's instead of discussing the show or topic.
