Calculated length of BB 2018
Bearing in mind; this is all my own assumptions going by the info we’ve been leaked and the new job advertisement pictured below, but I think it’s most likely to be the schedule.
The ad for working on Big Brother suggests staff will begin at the end of July and finish at the end of October. This means that CBB could begin roughly on Thursday the 9th of August & last around 27 days (based on previous years and presuming launch will be midweek) ending around Tuesday 4th September. Then I’m guessing BBUK could begin on the Thursday, 6th September (the same gap as last year between series) and last around 54 days, ending on Tuesday October 30th (same length as last year, just in time for the work contract to end, and not on Halloween) *this is all if my calculations are right* - based on contracts, these days could change but couldn’t get any longer unless everything was somehow extended. The only change possible would be reducing CBB’s days to add days to BBUK! For example, making CBB 22 days long, ending on Thursday and making BBUK 57 days long, beginning on the Monday or something. http://i66.tinypic.com/2ppeplu.jpg |
Wishful thinking but I hope CBB is only like 20 days long so BB can be longer
BB is literally going to be a fortnight long isn’t it
welp remember when it was meant to be the longest series ever
Still a good series length
I wouldn't be in the least surprised if civ BB was a month long
NOT BBUK ending on Mischief Night
ex-housemates to egg th'winner? |
Well that confirms that the planning contract at Elstree will be extended (to cover October at least) despite the earlier application being removed.

I think they should change the format and merge the two cbb and bbuk so that bbuk starts and the final 6 get prize money and enter into cbb... you might say that this is off the cards because they have reported said that ''we will start all guns blazing with celebrities...'' but maybe they will just get celebrities to come to the launch to help promote the series... that would be a good twist... people tune in thinking it cbb but its turns out to be a combined bbuk...with celebes at the end.. |
5 minutes - prod already picked winner before show even started
sounds ok to me
They'll have the housemates all walk on stage together at launch then they'll draw straws and the one with the shortest is crowned winner, the crowd goes wiled before it cuts to the tittle sequence. We come back to just Emma and it's now the CBB launch

Oh so BB will be about September the 15th?
I think civilian should start on the 12th of September...
Civilian will surely go to the end of October?
Who’s Ash? They don’t seem famous

Piers Morgan would be a good addition to the house. .. Maybe Nigel Havers? Walked in IAC 2010 and has played a scandalous character in corrie?

She looks like a scream

1. if staf start July 31st till October 31st... will there really be a 17 day wait for the cbb show...but then again maybe thats needed for advertising promotions... and for the bb auditions round two 2. how can anyone not know about big brother that they will need more info about it to decide if they want to be part of the show... I guess some might not be fans... 3 if the staff work contract is 3 months from July 31st... and 'bbuk wont start September 19th (a week after cbb)... that's only 6 weeks till the staff leave thats not a long enofh time is it? 46 days 50 if its star the day cbb finishes earlier. I dont know maybe its right as the 9th of august is not mid august... |
