Listen, I laugh at Jewish jokes all the time. The thing about being in a minority is to try not to take offence at everything because most of the time no insult is intended.

That's not a racist tweet, that's a racist joke. The latter are less offensive and generally do not have an underlying agenda. Of course, some racist jokes do, but I don't think that is the case here.

- It's borderline racist but I don't think he necessarily meant to be racist; I believe that he just doesn't "get it" (as he is a bit of a dinosaur... and this is fairly common).

- It isn't funny anyway, whether it's racist or not. It's a sh*t joke. And I actually think he was initially more butthurt that no one found it funny than anything else :hehe:

It’s an obvious joke(even if poor).People have been making ‘close to the bone’ jokes forever.
Comedy is an important outlet for society to be able to laugh at all these taboo subjects.A release.
I think a sensible head is needed when judging something as an ‘ism’ and if it has malicious intent behind it.Context is key.
