Graffiti Artists?
 

3 criminal vandals were killed by a train in the process of making horrible paint marks on public property for their own selfish vanity. There is a poor train driver now who has 3 deaths on his conscious

It looks vile, its costs millions to remove and it makes train fares rise (i guess). If fact it makes London look hideous and dangerous


So why is the BBC/Media calling them Graffiti Artists?

(Yes I know 3 kids died but they played with fire and got burnt, there is a very good reason Train companies put huge signs up to keep people off train tracks)

I do feel sorry for the train driver, poor guy must be devastated eventhough it was in no way his fault. Of course it's still very sad that 3 young people lost their lives, I see one was 19 and the other two were 23? tbf by 23 you'd hope that they'd know better. Just on the subject of graffiti I think it can definitely look nice if it's done well, it can make ugly things look better sometimes

I'm a fan of grafitti art, they were putting themselves in danger here. They were young and took a risk, I do NOT agree with the accusations of 'scum' leveled by some. It's just another example of dehumanising nonconformists/ youth/ disadvantaged.

Vandals, not artists. Poor train driver.

Youths make mistakes and don't always think things through. It's not anything new. It's still a tragic loss of life

Yes of course my sympathies are with the driver too.
Whether it is art or vandalism is perhaps a matter of opinion.

Nah. That's not graffiti art. Graffiti art is amazing.

I've seen better scrawled on a toddler's bedroom wall.

Some graffiti art looks pretty cool. Nothing posted so far in this thread is anything other than crappy vandalism though.
