Ive been invited to my nigerian pal akin's barbecue....
He is married with kids and is nigerian...the barbie is for his house warming.....my question is, do nigerians have any customs or special gifts for someone who has moved into a new home?

What tribe is he?
If he’s an Igbo man he’ll appreciate everything to do with the money. |

Yoruba people are more outgoing and less money-loving than Igbo people. Yoruba people don’t drink as much alcohol as Igbos either (especially if they’re Yoruba Muslims). You’re best sticking with a box of chocolates and a crate of Bud at the most. |
