Bit harsh

they have enough on their plates without solving medical matters

smudgie 21-06-2018 08:41 AM

Thankfully not.
But this year is going to be really bad, even those that normally don't suffer could be in for a hard time.:fist:

Cherie 21-06-2018 09:19 AM

June only, don't get itchy eyes just sneeze about 10 times now and again, and then it is gone.. its not been bad at all this year, and we are nearly out of June :cheer2:

Niamh. 21-06-2018 09:25 AM

Yes it's a right nasty bitch!

bots 21-06-2018 09:42 AM

I suffered terribly from hay fever as a kid and into my youth. The doctor at the time said I would grow out of it, and he was right, after 40 it didn't bother me again

Livia 21-06-2018 09:50 AM

I do, a little... but I must just have trouble with certain pollen. I have a few days in the year when my eyes are streaming, and a few days when I can't stop sneezing, but not much more than that, I really don't suffer like some people.

What I really do have trouble with is mozzie bites. I react quite badly to them. In the summer it goes, shower, body lotion, Jungle Formula mozzie spray.

Lostie! 21-06-2018 09:55 AM

Yeah I get it really bad sometimes. Same with colds. Sometimes one of my eyes swells up overnight and I look like I've been punched.

That sounds like it could be tree pollen. It can often produce the worst symptoms

I do feel rotten for a couple of days... but it's really short-lived so I don't feel I get the sympathy I deserve.............

I used to use some sort of spray that went up your nose (can't remember what it was called) that used to sort it out for me.
