How hard is to make your own mobile app?
 

Did anyone make them? How much time did it take for you to get necessary skills for this?

depends what the app is going to do and the platform(s) its going to be on

I can but mirror the sentiments of the posts above. I'm working on an educational app for kids with a friend, and everything we want the app to do can be done through app building software, along with the sum of our mediocre programming skills.
