Which Shawshank Redemption Death Was Sadder?
 

Brooke's death may get mentioned more and is the Fan Fav and i Expect him to probably top this Poll, But I think Tommy's Death is even more Heartbreaking. Poor Guy had a young wife and child, and all the time in the world to redeem himself.

What Death was sadder in your Opinion?

Brooks for me, it really hits home how some people just can't adjust to life outside of prison once they're released. The fact that he was elderly too just makes it 100x worse imo.

Brooks' is probably sadder, and Tommy's more shocking.. Brooks' had all that build up to it which I think is what made it sadder for me.

The scenes of him prior to his death and the death scene itself were more sad, depressing and hopeless I think and you're right Tommys was just a shock

Brooks death destroys me everytime I watch it.
