No. And that's only partly the shows fault. I think Celebs are just reluctant to do rtv. It's not as if BB got good names on C4 either, probably a bit bigger but by no means A List.

it actually was, even though wikiwatchers probably didn’t think so, because only half of the celebrities had a wikipedia page :skull:

but Ann Widdecombe is a massive name in this country

Ann, Amanda, Ginuwine, Wayne, Rachel, John & Shane Lynch were great names (even Maggie to some extent)

That’s true. The lineup had many that people would recognise. The biggest stars were Ann Widdecombe, Amanda Barrie, John Barnes, Shane Lynch and Wayne Sleep

Even Courtney could probably be considered a big name after the success of Drag Race in the UK

Oh definitely. Courtney Act is well known but i guess it depends on the audience or people suchlike as older people may not know but younger people will

It's only ever been able to get a certain type of celeb. As mega celebs are just not going to/nor will need to do shows like this.

Every once in a while they pull out a surprise signing of someone who wants some easy money or is no longer as famous as they were.

i just had a thought, remember on launch night when Ann and Rachel (but more emphasis on Ann here) said that the only reason they were doing the show was because of the theme of women’s rights?
