Fundraiser to fly giant baby SADiq Khan over London when Trump visits raises 21k
|
Amazing!
|
I thought the Trump thing was disrespectful and I think this is too.
However, I must say I did have a giggle at people prodding Khan to see if freedom of speech applies to all and whether or not Khan and the London assembly will also approve him being made fun of. |
will be interesting if it gets approved
|
Let's have a quick browse through the comment section on that fundraiser, shall we... oh

(I think my favourite is the person who decided that Magna Carta was signed in the 17th century, and definitely not the Bill of Rights)

Both of them up together emits the comedy value the first one deserved.

That's a very biased selection of comments MB. I saw a lot more people focused on his role as mayor and his shortcoming than anything racist as you seem to insinuate. Of course there are a few idiots spouting racism but those vile comments are few and far between compared to sensible comments.

Yes, those are some highly constructive comments from multiple people who can't spell "Khan" and one who's asking, in all seriousness, why nobody's protesting Putin's visit
|
Good job Amy-Jade! Khan must step down or be ousted

Anyway, this balloon isn't going to be made either way, so congrats to the guy involved for wasting a few idiots' money, I guess? (I also don't think "haha Trump is a baby!" is the level of political criticism we should be aiming for eighteen months into his presidency, but there we are) |

Difference is, the Trump crowdfuner already has a balloon ready to go, this one has a poorly executed photoshop :joker:

The people who've spent over £20k on this, however? I wonder what on earth they think they'll achieve, aside from crippling debt

Perhaps it might have been better for them to take the high road and cut out the middle man on this one |
