The tourist, who was visiting a popular whale-watching clifftop, is the second person to fall and die from there in recent weeks.]
[The 18-year-old tourist was taking selfies with friends at Cape Solander, south of Sydney, when he lost his balance on slippery rocks, it is believed.
He plunged 10 metres (32.8ft) into the sea below, police said.]

This happened when i was at kings canyon in NT, it was horrible, she screamed for 3 hours before she died, too far from alice springs for the helicopter to get there in time.

Just how dumb can you get ? Dying from being dumb .

Will the cause of death be died from being Dumb - no misadventure , its not a freak accident , its just complete stupidity !

sad but dumb actions just get you into trouble, yet having said that it doesn't take away the sadness how i feel now for this poor girl

A tragic accident, doesn't sit well that people are making jokes about someone losing their life in this way.

it would equally sit funny if everyone pretended to be either upset or particularly bothered other than in a "oh that is sad but he ho" type way

"Oh that is sad but hey ho" is a bit different to "death by being dumb" but whatever....

Don't think most people think like that even the jokers, kids make mistakes, he was 18 who didn't make a mistake at that age, the good news is most of us survive to tell the tale

18 year old does something a bit dangerous because they think they're immortal is hardly a new or unusual phenomenon though, it's been happening since the beginning of time but as Cherie said luckily most times they survive. I have an 18 year old, I'd be pretty upset if someone made comments like some of the ones in here if she'd died
