Do you Like Novelty/Joke Acts?
 

I didn't watch Last Years X Factor so i'm unaware if there was one, But before last year there was Honey G. I'm 50/50 When it comes to Joke Acts. I couldn't stand Honey G and wanted her out, but at the same time i loved her being saved Repeatedly and watching Loads of people being infuriated and Appalled.

So do you prefer the Show with or without Joke Acts?

Joke acts are good in the Auditions and they can make bootcamp a bit livelier - but after that they don't really serve a purpose.

Yes. Theyre very important imo. They dont even need to be novelty acts either, just somebody for the masses to hate like mason noise, frankie cocoza and that scouse that went on cbb.

But jedward are the undeniable best ever contestant and they were a novelty act

I don't mind them in the audition stages n bootcamp but when they start to take the place of actually talented singers it's annoying. Agree with the above there needs to be someone to hate but would much rather it be a diva such as Kitty / Katie / Misha / Mason who can actually sing

Yes, but they have to have some amount of talent. Honey G and Stevi Ritchie were just terrible and not funny, whereas the likes of Rylan and Wagner worked well.

Can they not just get eccentric artists that are actually talented? its just an insult to the other acts having someone like Honey G make it further than you in the competition. tbf its one of the reasons why I'm not really into txf anymore.

I don't mind them until a genuinely talented person outsings them and the judges either save the novelty or take ot to the public vote knowing the vastly superior act is likely to go.

Like the Conway Sisters staying over Maria Lawson or Lucie Jones singing an amaxing save me song and still going over Jedward

Usually yes but some are annoying

During auditions they are alright as long as they get no further as they take real singers places in Live Shows.

I Still Hate Simon for leaving that Decision to the Public after all these years. He knew Jedward were Popular by a Large Margin. It was at that Stage the Show began losing Credibility. Lucie Should have made it to the Final that year.
