were raping and exploiting white girls
has reportedly received increased security
from Scotland Yard's counter terrorism unit.
Sarah Champion is said to have received
death threats after a charity released
a report that was heavily critical of her.
Ms Champion, Labour MP for Rotherham,
resigned from the shadow cabinet last
summer after writing an article for
The Sun newspaper in which
she said: "Britain has a problem

and exploiting white girls.

In view of Rotherham and the other cases that have come to light I would say she is right. There does seem to be a problem. If you don't address it how can you try to correct it?

he is making sure she is safe

I agree with her and isn't it a poor show when you have to get protection for telling the truth,we have a massive problem with it in Telford a town a few miles away from me, some of the things that go on there are below contempt,time to root them out and throw the book at them.

It’s a well known fact that grooming gangs of that particular type of sexual abuse is most commonly from Pakistani men. Not saying most Pakistani men are rapists but most rapist gangs are Pakistani men.

He shouldn't have to make her safe for speaking the truth, many negative things are said about other communities but no body needs police protection for speaking the truth

I get the point you're making but I also agree that this is a problem that needs dealing with if it's linked to a particular culture/group of people. Girls safety should trump everything else imo

This thread title is very confusing.

Some of them are probably involved in these kinds of goings on themselves or they know people in high places who are. They all knew about Saville and said nothing.

But there being "another Saville" is next to impossible. If anyone cares I can go into detail, but suffice to say a summer job I take is involved with child protection and the BBC, and I'm happy to say I can't see how another Saville could happen.

So that has measures to prevent it, so why don't Pakistani rape gangs??

Just been listening to a muslim talking about this on Radio 5, and he said it is getting to dangerous levels now that there are so many organisations who will shut down any negative comments about muslims calling anyone that makes a negative remark even about islamic terrorists islamaphobic is not helpful, and that it actually making life difficult for law abiding muslims rather than helping the issue, and I have to agree, this tippy toeing around the issues is not helping anyone

Time they were rounded up , named and shamed, dirty bastards, one of my friends is a social worker who deals with some of these girls , she can't go into detail as it's not allowed but she said some of the stories are heart breaking , they pick vunerable girls and offer them phones , Michael Kors watches etc , anything a young kid would want, they also drug them and take pics , bloody horrible scumbags.

Vulnerable white girls from white families, some girls are off the rails in the first place, so that makes it harder to keep them safe and easier for others to manipulate them.

At times social services and the police are powerless to help.
