TIBB's Favourite British Sitcom (Heat 5 1970s)
 

So this is to find out what the forums favourite British Sitcom is.


There will be 6 heats, the top 2 in each heat will go straight through to the grand final.

The third placed finishers of each will go into a semi-final, and the winner of that will also go through to the grand final.

The heats will be made up of the decades in which the sitcoms began. 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s.

I shall post a poll with the names of up to 25 sitcoms, you just have to choose your favourite, you get one choice, so choose wisely.

The deadline for votes in the heats will be at the end of August.

Gosh Alf that was the hardest ! So many classics there.

Fawlty Towers! I do love Man About The House and its offshoots, but they pale in comparison.

Terry and June was a scream

I've only seen "George and Mildred" which I love. I did start watching "Man About the House" watched the first 2 episodes on YT, but then I must have got distracted and forgot to go back to it, but it's on my to watch list. I probably won't get around to watching "Robin's Nest" which I assume is the weakest of the three?

Robins nest was quite weak but the one armed washer upper makes the show.

Yeah Robin's Nest is definitely the weakest, but it's still entertaining.
