Does ear plugs really work?
 

I have problems with noisy neighbours and my sleep because of that so I want to try earplugs as a solution but can they be really helpful in this case? Anyone used them?

Well they'd be a bit useless if they didn't

I've got like a fear of using them to sleep, like what if they're TOO good and you don't hear someone breaking in or something and you open your eyes to a man with an axe standing over you yano? Creeps me out!

I have a pair that are moulder to my ears. Works a treat for when the neighbours dog is howling and barking.

Use earplugs by all means, but start to tape the ignorant neighbours too with a view to complaining to the local council - multiple times if necessary.

I tried them because my adorable ex snored like an orgasmning gruffallo....

You just lay in bed with your head on the pillow unable to sleep cause you can feel them in your lugs.
