Should civillian BB launched tonight instead of CBB?
 

I feel with the recent trends of people getting back into watching "normal" folk tonight's launch would have been more entertaining/gripping but again we had another CBB.

I couldn't help feeling whilst watching tonight's launch that I wished it was an epic regular BB series with no expectations of A listers but just expectations for good housemates who would provide a **** load of entertainment and nothing to serious.

Civ BB is dead. CBB is the only thing keeping this going

Its really not there's not much difference in the ratings between both shows so...

CBB20 final- 1.87m

Where is this trend?

It was 1.78 for the January series though which usually draws in big viewing figures so the fact the final did worse in January over a summer series speaks volumes....Factor in the costs of running CBB against the normal show and its Millions spent on celebs....They cannot make much out of CBB with ratings under 2 million, Januarys CBB ratings were shocking.

They could have just had an amazing civilian series with a decent budget and kept it basic like everyone wants.

The whole back to back series never worked because it doesn't give fans who have invested in the show a time to chill before BANG the next series is starting.

All over ITV2 ,ITVBe, MTV just getting celebs in a house now seems a bit sad and old fashioned.

Im sure we would be fighting for CBB in a few years again if it were cancelled but right now the regular peeps are winning and seems the perfect time to launch normal BB back into the publics consciousness

If they spend 2 million on CBB Housemates and 2 thousand on BB housemates its a no brainer that cbb must go first!

There are no normal people on ITV2, ITVBe, MTV they're all social media famous or slept with celebs or daughter of celebs.

You're missing the point these shows don't put "CELEB" infront of the title so no one is expecting A Listers CBB just sets itself up to fail by doing this because they don't deliver anymore....Btw I don't think any civilian housemate is normal lol you have to be a bit strange to want to live in a house and be watched by the nation.

Don't get me wrong in the past they have had some amazing signings and were far superior casts to the likes of IACGMOOH or SCD.

Its just with CBB they have rinsed the celeb circuit so much in recent years they have had to recycle them in both Celeb and civilian series and its become boring.

The interest is there for characters not classed as celebs and that's what the producers have been looking for during auditions for the upcoming BB series...Noone with tv experience.

Surely I cant be the only one who wants regular BB to be priority and not be side kick to what used to be the spin off show?
