Nomination Consistency :Do You Really Care?

Is nominations consistency really so crucial as opposed to putting on an entertaining show? I didnt mind at all that producers would play around with the rules a bit to keep the most entertaining characters in, and chuck the boring ones out. Its a way to mitigate housemates tendencies to put up the most controversial characters early, like India last year and now we have two of the most entertaining and controversial characters up head to head and are sure to lose one. I just want to enjoy the best show possible show, and dont care whether the basis for being nominated is consistent week on week if it means the best people go early. How does everyone else feel?

When it comes to Cbb, I don’t care about nomination consistency because it’s hard to have a super good show with it just due t the nature of Cbb in my opinion. It’s when they fuk with the civilian series noms that annoys me most

It has really got to the point where I’ll take literally anything to save this series from being the dan and gabby show, and that’d unfortunatelyinclude nat

Yes it must be consistent, twists should only be used once for celeb series and twice for Civilian at most...

The rest must be normal, straight to the point Big Brother nominations without any gimmicks...

If they rigged it for India maybe CBB21 wouldn't have been so abhorrent

Living for the real woman saga to go on for 30 days
Tho it was absolutely hillarous how boring rh next 10 days after her eviction were. They did that task in the cars and it literally felt like watching security cameras in a retirement home :joker: and that’s not even anything to do with age, it was just that dull

Honestly the only good part about that task was Ann, a massive Conservative, shouting "LEFT. LEEFT. LEEEEEEEFTT!!!!!" :hehe:

It's even more depressing when Marcus' one-liners became more of a highlight than the actual highlights show

Lmfao it’s quite alarming when the irony of Ann saying the word left, or Malika threatening to quit in the diary room then a second later Marcus reads out ‘malika has decided not to quit’ become the highlight of your show. Why did I put myself through 30 episodes of that? :bawling:

If a series can't survive without 1 housemate then it's ****ing trash anyway. Having random nominations rules is just a bloody mess to watch and just makes the whole show look like a joke. also producers manipulating the show so that the entertainment stays in is what made seasons like cbb15 and bb16 so ****ing dreadful

I'm asking myself the same question

Withano 22-08-2018 12:59 PM

Yes, otherwise its just a string of random events.

i don’t really care tbh i just don’t like 1v1 evictions and never will

i’d much prefer if 4 housemates were up everytime or a “certain number of noms equal up for eviction”

Consistency doesn't mean loss of production value, even though sometimes a few twists/nomination rules saved some situations. But overall, I think it is better to have a consistent show throughout.

In French BB, at least for the first 6 series, one week only males were put for nomination, the other week only females etc... That gave the show consistency and the public knew what was going to happen beforehand. But they went the same way as C5, making it a mess and having it cancelled since this year.

not a fan of 1v1 evictions either
