Former Oasis star Liam Gallagher has denied 'grabbing his girlfriend by the throat' and calling her a '*******ing witch' during a during a row which caused him to storm out of a London nightclub.

The singer tweeted: 'Firstly I have never put my hands on any woman in a vicious manner.

'Secondly there is only 1 witch and we all know who that is as you were LG x'

His girlfriend of four year Debbie Gwyther, 34, was in tears when he 'shoved her back' while the two partied at the exclusive Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone.

'Liam and Debbie had been arguing and then he just completely lost control and went at her' a source told the Sun.

'He was aggressively pushing her down the corridor. Then he stopped and turned away and she started to follow him.

'He suddenly wheeled round, reached out and pushed her by the throat with one hand while holding what looked like a bottle of beer in the other.

'Later people outside could hear Liam shouting, 'She is a witch. It was her fault. She is a witch. She is a *******ing witch' He was saying it over and over.'

The source added the Mancunian, 45, 'wasn't bothered' abut how his former personal assistant turned girlfriend was and left her crying in the club after being escorted off the premises by a security guard.

A reveller had earlier complained to a security guard that Liam was being aggressive towards Debbie.

Two years ago the the pair publicly clashed at a celebrity haunt in Oxfordshire.

The couple were seen arguing at the bar of the Soho Farmhouse in early 2016 shortly after Liam was ordered to split his £11million fortune with ex-wife and All Saints star Nicole Appleton.

A representative for Liam Gallagher did not immediately reply to request for comment.
